Salary:  $95,000 - $145,000 – dependent on experience

overview

The Marketing Communications Manager reports to the VP of Commerce and is responsible for defining and executing the Brand strategy. Your creativity, effective communication skills, effective project management and hands-on work style will further drive Boppy brand growth and value. You will collaborate with our Marketing, Creative, Sales and Leadership Teams. You must be a leader, team player, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and able to do what it takes to get the job done with minimal advance notice, when necessary. This position currently supervises one employee. You will lead special projects as assigned. Some travel is required.

responsibilities

 

Brand Strategy & Brand Development

You will be the Boppy brand architect, driving the development tools, tactics and materials that define what Boppy is as a brand and how this translates to consumers, retailers, and healthcare professionals mindful of Boppy’s brand voice and competition. This includes, but may not be limited to:  

      • Working collaboratively with VP of Commerce and agency partners
      • Marketing Campaign Planning & Development
      • Creative Asset Development Process ensuring consistancy
        • Content Guidelines and Development, including Product Copy, Package, Manuals, and Safe Use Guides, Sales Image Comms, Launch comms, QR codes and links, Translations
        • Content Creation + SEO, including Video, collateral, Ad Copy, Blog Writing, Sales Marketing Presentations, Retailer Content with an emphasis on Amazon.com
      • Sales Team Support, including presentations, line reviews, and merchandising
      • Website content and aesthetics
      • Crisis Communication
      • Brand manual development and oversight
      • International Marketing Materials
      • Collaboration within Sales & Marketing Teams

Product Marketing

      • Product Marketing Schedule
      •   Product and Fashion Naming
      •   Product content

qualifications

•   Minimum of 8 years of progressive growth in consumer products marketing and branded product management
•   Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or related field
•   Experience with Amazon.com content creation
•   Experience developing creative and comprehensive enterprise-wide and retailer marketing programs
•   Experience managing marketing budgets
•   Microsoft Office proficiency
•   AI and Canva competence a plus
